MIKE'S 928
The Project Car
I found an 1981 Porsche 928 that had been converted to a convertible by B&B in Stugert Germany.  The car was owned by a lady in California and originally by a woman in Texas.  I thought the convertible 928 was awesome looking.

It's rare to see a Porsche 928 on the road, but how many covertible 928's do you pass?

I bought the car from an Ebay ad knowing it had issues and had it shipped up to me in West Virginia.
The car was shipped out and I drove it home from the trucking company.  Sadly a short while later the car broke a timing belt and the engine was known as an "interference engine" meaning the pistons smashed into the valves and caused massive internal damage.

Like many other broken down 928's it has sat for years and years with the thought I was going to repair it one day.   Many times I considered just junking it but could never bring myself to do it.

At this point the car has deteriorated to the point where maybe it won't get restored.  I don't know right now.  Health issues have taken over and perhaps one day I will try to get it rolling.  Below are some sad pictures of the car's current state.
